  • Many stocks are easily transferred to Baby Steps and result in tax benefits for you. Talk with your financial advisor for more information.

  • You may leave a financial legacy for Baby Steps through a variety of ways:

    • ​Designate Baby Steps as a beneficiary of life insurance or retirement funds.

    • Specify Baby Steps in your will as a recipient of a portion of your final estate.

    • Set up a Charitable Gift Annuity.

  • Individuals who have reached age 70.5 (72 if he/she did not reach 70.5 before January 1, 2020) are required to take minimum distributions (RMDs) from their IRAs each year. Taking advantage of a qualified charitable distribution to fulfill your RMD can offer tax benefits to you. In order to receive the full tax benefit, if you request that part or all of your RMD to be directed to Baby Steps, please make sure that your donation comes directly to Baby Steps from your IRA holder.
