What We Provide
You are not defined by your circumstances but are empowered to thrive as a student and mother.
Housing
Being a Student-Mom with a baby can be challenging, and housing costs is a significant financial burden. Having housing that is baby friendly and close to campus provided at no cost to the Student-Mom helps alleviate some of that burden, allowing them to focus on their studies and taking care of their baby.
Community
Being part of a community provides a Student-Mom with opportunities for growth and a sense of connection with others who are going through similar experiences. This helps them feel less isolated and more supported during what is often a challenging time.
Support
Student-Moms need practical support with things like professional childcare, meals, housing, and baby items at no cost, but they also need emotional support. Having an unplanned pregnancy in college is emotionally taxing, and ensuring a support system in place is essential for Student-Moms to succeed.
We Serve Two Types of Student-Moms…
Resident Student-Moms
Community Student-Moms

“Second semester of freshman year I found out I was pregnant. I felt like for as much money and resources the university has, there seemed to be little to none for mamas. The community I gained through Baby Steps has been life-changing. These girls know what it’s like going from class to picking up your baby from daycare. They will always be there. I would never have found that without Baby Steps.”
