The Baby Steps organization serves as the driving force behind our Hubs, setting the vision, mission, and standards that guide our work.

Baby Steps’ Leadership team provides ongoing strategic leadership, expertise, and resources to ensure that each Baby Steps Hub is equipped with the necessary infrastructure and support systems to create a culture where Student-Moms can succeed.

Support Our Hubs

Baby Steps Hubs are the heart and soul of our organization. They act as local sites of empowerment near college campuses, connecting Student-Moms to a network of support. Our Hubs focus on three fundamental pillars: housing, community, and support.

Support Our Emerging Hubs

Our Crawler Hubs represent the next chapters in Baby Steps’ growth. These are communities where the groundwork is being laid to bring our comprehensive range of resources to Student-Moms in the area.

While these Hubs are not yet fully operational, fundraising is actively underway. Your gift will help build the foundation for Baby Steps at these locations.

There are several other ways to give:

  • Mail a check made out to “Baby Steps” to PO Box 462 // Auburn, AL 36831

    If you would like to give to a specific Hub, please include the Hub name in the memo line.

  • Many stocks are easily transferred to Baby Steps and result in tax benefits for you. Talk with your financial advisor for more information.

  • You may leave a financial legacy for Baby Steps through a variety of ways:

    • ​Designate Baby Steps as a beneficiary of life insurance or retirement funds.

    • Specify Baby Steps in your will as a recipient of a portion of your final estate.

    • Set up a Charitable Gift Annuity.

  • Individuals who have reached age 70.5 (72 if he/she did not reach 70.5 before January 1, 2020) are required to take minimum distributions (RMDs) from their IRAs each year. Taking advantage of a qualified charitable distribution to fulfill your RMD can offer tax benefits to you. In order to receive the full tax benefit, if you request that part or all of your RMD to be directed to Baby Steps, please make sure that your donation comes directly to Baby Steps from your IRA holder.
