Creating a culture of empowerment starts with you.
Thinking of bringing Baby Steps to a community near you?
As we grow, we are committed to establishing new Hubs in communities that need our services. Our expansion process ensures that each new Hub is well-equipped to provide the resources, support, and community that Student-Moms need to thrive.
So, let’s work together to impact generations and bring a life-changing organization to your community.
What does creating a Hub look like?
Expanding Baby Steps involves careful planning, community engagement, and a phased approach to ensure sustainability and success. Our goal is to create a self-sustaining Hub that can serve Student-Moms for years to come. As we continue to expand, we recognize that our Hubs are marked by distinct stages that shape their growth: Infants, Crawlers, and Walkers.
The Hub Phases
Infant
There are people in the community showing significant interest and having preliminary conversations with Baby Steps staff.
Crawler
Official Baby Steps Staff or Planters are actively fundraising to be able to open their doors and begin serving Student-Moms.
Walker
The Hub is up and running, and Student-Moms are being empowered with housing, community, and support.
Where We Could Go
At Baby Steps, our vision is to extend our reach and establish new Hubs in communities across the country, providing essential support to Student-Moms everywhere. Below, you can explore our potential expansion locations, categorized by their current phase of development.
Most pushpins represent communities interested in becoming Infant Hubs. The larger pushpins represent Hubs in the Crawler or Walker stages.
